I am asking this question since this is the first project that I have worked on using SharePoint 2013. Right now I have created a custom list, obtained the default save and cancel buttons by opening the file in SharePoint Designer 2013, and then opened InfoPath 2013 from SharePoint 2013 designer. I have also published the custom list on my 'test SharePoint area'.
Now I want to 'wire together' the custom list to a workflow. I will probably create the workflow using VISIO premium 2013.
I have seen some videos on how to connect a list to a workflow generally. However I do not know how to connect the custom list when the user clicks the 'save' button on the custom InfoPath form and start the workflow.
Thus can you tell me how to connect 'wire together' the custom list when the user clicks the 'save' button on the custom InfoPath form and start the workflow? Would you explain this to me and/or point me to link(s) (url) that will show me how to accomplish my goal?
