How to bring dynamic form/item fields into notification emails

I've created a simple item list for maintenance requests at work.  New items can only be of an item content type I created for it. All the fields in the form are custom site columns.  It's all very simple, and I want a process for the user roles that's as simple. Someone creates the request, and then a higher-up approves it (or not). Very simple, a requestor role and an approver role.

So far, the workflow goes like this: Item is created > Email is sent to Approver role.  The email says basically says "Hey, look at this and approve it (or not)," by linking to the item that was just created.  The Approver opens the email, clicks the link, waits for the item form to load in IE, reviews the new request, then clicks an approval checkbox and saves it.

Okay, that's pretty simple, sure.  But is it possible to make it even simpler?  Is it possible to just have the item form load in the notification email?  Isn't there a way to bring dynamic fields into workflow emails?  Not static strings from the site columns/content type associated with the item, but live, active, dynamic fields for the site columns . . . So that you can actually edit the item in emails without having to wait for SharePoint/IE to load . . . Is this possible?
